Yesterday marked 6 weeks since my surgery so I am able to officially start working out again! Before my surgery, I weighed in at 178.2. This morning, I weighed in at 173.0. So that makes a total of 5.2 pounds lost over a 6 week period. Of course I would have liked to have lost more, but with not being able to workout and me not eating that great, I'm happy with a 5 pound loss!
So now that I'm healed from my surgery and getting ready for a wedding, I've got to get my body back to eating right and working out. There are 170 days to try and lose as much weight as I can and get in the best shape possible. I have 32 pounds left until I reach my goal weight and I would LOVE to do that by the wedding! I'm just going to work as hard as I can and see what happens. Wanting to look good on your wedding day is GREAT motivation for working as hard as possible.
I know all the things that I need to do to be successful, so I just have to get back to doing them.
Here is my game plan:
- Workout 5 days per week (3 at the gym and 2 at home)
- Drink at least 64oz of water
- Track all my food
- Stay around 1,200 calories per day
- Take all my vitamins
- Blog regularly
- Pre-plan my meals
