Recently I started making smoothies. They are a quick and easy meal and a great way for me to get in more fruit and vegetables. You seriously cannot even taste the spinach, it's so good! There are so many variations to this recipe that you can do, but this is the way that I like it the best. I like using frozen fruit so that you don't have to use ice.
Here is the recipe. It makes 1 smoothie.
2 cups of fresh spinach
1 cup frozen berry mix
1 cup of milk
1/4 cup of nonfat plain greek yogurt
1 packet of splenda
Sometimes I add a scoop of protein powder if I'm trying to get more protein in.
Blend all ingredients together and enjoy!
