Texas Tornadoes

Yesterday was a crazy day here in DFW!  Thankfully with all the tornadoes and damage in the area, nobody lost their lives.  Everyone in my family is okay and nobody had any damage.  The tornadoes were about 30 minutes from where I live, but we did get some bad storms here too.  My brother lives in Arlington where one of the tornadoes touched down and he was even able to video the tornado from where he works.  My parents, brother, sister, and grandmother all live really close to where several of the tornadoes were, but thankfully everyone is okay.  My brother's school is in Lancaster where the tornado hit and is closed today because of damage from the storm.  It was so crazy.  Thanks to everyone for all their calls, texts, and emails checking on me yesterday!

Here are a couple of pictures I found online and one is from one of my friends that she posted on facebook.

Please send thoughts and prayers to all of those that were injured or lost their homes and pets from these storms!

  1. Girl I was scared the yesterday because I was on a calling frenzy to see if family members were okay. I'm glad that no one has lost their lives.

  2. Wow! I'm glad you and your family are safe and that no one lost their life during those storms. The storms came my way overnight - lots of storms and a possible tornado touchdown about 20 minutes away but luckily no loss of life and not much damage here in NOLA.
