Weekly Weigh-In #37

This week I weighed in at 194.0 for a loss of 3 pounds for the week and a total loss of 71.3 pounds!  I was thrilled with the loss for this week!  I haven't had a loss that big in a really long time!  And it put me over the 70 pound lost mark.  For some reason hearing 71 pounds just seems like a lot!  The weight is really coming off and I couldn't be more excited!

I did work really hard this week.  I planned all of my meals and exercise and stuck with the plan.  I had really bad allergies that I guess has turned into a cold now and haven't been feeling that great, but I still stuck with the plan.  It's so great when you have a week that you worked really hard and to see it pay off.  Especially because we've all had those weeks where we work really hard and don't lose much.  This really encourages me to stick with it.  I have 54 more pounds until I get to my goal of 140 and I'm more motivated than ever to get there!

I have an appointment scheduled on Valentine's Day to get a fill.  I have really been struggling with whether to get one or not.  Part of my feels like a need a little fill and my last fill was in July.  But I also don't want to be too tight and I don't get super hungry very often, but I feel like I want to eat a little more than I should.  I just keep going back and forth about it and I'm not sure.  Hopefully when I talk to the people when I go in for my appointment they will help me to be able to make the right decision.

I signed up to do the Color Run next Sunday.  As I talk about in my video below, I'm having mixed feelings about it.  But I've committed and I'm doing it.  I just haven't been training at all and I know I can't run.  So we'll see how this week goes.  On one hand I'm really excited about it and think it will be fun, but on the other hand I'm nervous if I can do it or not.  So we'll see.  I'll make sure to post lots of pictures!  Beth and Ronnie will be there as well as several of my other friends so I know we'll have a good time!

  1. Regardless of whether you walk, jog, run or a combination of all three - you'll be fine and in good company with everyone there, I'm sure! I remember doing my first charity 5k...just showing up is the important thing!

  3. I am so proud of you. You did what you needed to do this week and the scale reflected it. 71 pounds is so great; you should be so proud of yourself and that accomplishment.
    Color Run and check ins?? Do they throw paint on you or what?

  4. awesome loss, girl. especially with being sick. I still really want my comfort "sick" food (grilled cheese and ABC's and 123's).
