Weekly Weigh-In # 20


This week I lost 1.6 pounds, for a total loss of 52.7 pounds.  I have to confess that I was a little surprised with my loss this week because I didn't make the best food choices.  I don't think I went overboard, but I had things that I don't normally allow myself to eat several days this week.  I think before I was banded, I probably would have "fallen off the wagon" this week and gone back to my old eating habits.  But I really feel that the band helped to keep me in check and not go overboard.  I ate some things that I enjoy but because of the band I didn't go crazy.  I think I just need to find a balance of letting myself eat some of the food that I really like, but not doing it all the time.  I'm still learning, but I know I've come a long way since earlier this year.  I did manage to get in a couple workouts this week so I think that helped with the weight loss.



Last night I had some friends over to watch the Ranger's game.  It was so fun watching them win and now we're going to the WORLD SERIES!!!  YAY!  This was me showing my Texas pride after the game.  Haha...it was late and I was excited.


Thank you all so much for the well wishes for my sister!  She is staying at my parent's house right now and is doing great!  She's actually doing better than I did after surgery.  I'm really excited for her and I know she will do great!

Also the conference went great!  We had over 700 ladies there and everything went really smoothly.  

After my crazy week, it was so nice to be able to sleep in this morning and just be lazy today.  Well, that is until 4:00 when we're having friends over to the house.

My 50 pounds lost present came in the mail on Friday.  I got myself the new iPhone 4S phone.  I love it!  

So my goals for this week are:
  • Track all my food (even if it's bad).  I have not been doing this and I really need to start back.
  • Workout at least 3 times this week
  • Drink more water

And my ultimate short-term goal is:
ONERLAND BY THE END OF THE YEAR!!!
I've posted my weekly YouTube video below.  It says a lot of the same things I said in my blog.  It was late and I was so tired so my thoughts were kind of all over the place.

  1. Okay--- 1st off congrats on the 1.6. And WOW!! at that Texans win last night. The hubs and I left dinner last night and Detroit was up by 2 and by the time we got home TX was up 7. I got my 4S last night I am gonna love it as soon as I get it all set up.

  4. YAY FOR YOUR TEAM!!! MY ALL BLACKS BEAT THE WALLABIES LAST NIGHT SO IM SUPPPPPPEEERRR STOOOKKKEEEDDDD. Got to beat France this weekend though. anyway on to more important stuff - yay for your loss! you should be super proud - you've done amazing!!! seriously!!!

  5. Glad your sister's surgery went well...it will be great to have her as part of your support system and you can be such a great role model for her since you have been so successful! Also, congrats on the loss...you can definately make it to Onederland by the end of the year!!
