Weekly Weigh-In #9


I saw this picture on a friend's blog and loved it!  It's good to refocus sometimes and remember what is important in life and to enjoy those things!



This week I lost 2.2 pounds for a total loss of 38.3 pounds.  I'm so excited that the weight is coming off and each week I am feeling better and better!  I had a fill scheduled for next Tuesday but I cancelled it because I'm feeling good with the amount I have in my band right now.  I haven't been feeling as hungry and I notice myself getting full much faster.  I definitely don't want to be too tight so I am going to stick with this for a little while and see how I feel in a few weeks.


Last night I went out with a bunch of friends for a going away party for one of my best friends.  She is moving to Oklahoma this weekend and I am so sad.  It's only 3 hours away so it will be easy to go visit, but it will still be hard to not see her all the time :(

This weekend is pretty quiet which is good, because it feels like things have been non-stop for awhile now.  I'm looking forward to getting some things done around the house and working on a few projects.

Now that I am finally feeling better I need to get back into a workout routine.  I worked out this morning and it felt so good.  I like working out at the gym, but my roommate has tons of workout videos so I may try that for a little while and see how that goes.  What is your favorite workout or your weekly workout routine? (Vote to the right of this post or explain in comments)  I need to set a schedule and stick to it, but at this point I'm not sure what I want to do.

  1. I LOVE group classes because I need accountability. If I leave it to myself, I make excuses. CrossFit and Jazzercise are my favorites, but I've tried many. I suggest trying different things and seeing what makes you want to do it again. That is the key!

    Good for you for canceling your fill, I've done that about three times now, and I'm really happy with my level of restriction. :)

  9. Great Loss! I voted! My favorite work out routine is anything outside ~ I mountain bike 2-3 hours 4 days a week run 1hr 2x week ~ track workout 1x a week and then boot camp 1x a week and walk the dogs every morning 1.5 miles ~ whew! All this is mainly to keep my sanity!! You are doing great! keep it up!

  12. Great loss! I prefer going to the gym, doing my own thing on the machines and then taking group classes once or twice a week. That's what I'm on my game...makes me feel energized and awesome. Haven't felt that way in awhile though. LOL>
